MT5 Navigator Window
The MT5 Navigator window is mostly used to move around the most often used parts of the MT5 Bitcoin Trading Software Platform. These parts are:
- Accounts: Demo & Live Accounts
- Indicators
- Automated CryptoCurrency EAs: A listing of automated bots within this MetaTrader 5 Crypto Trade Platform
- Custom Indicators:
- Scripts: Scripts are used to execute some tasks in the MT5 Platform

After selecting the Navigator button on MT5, the corresponding navigator window panel will display options for customization.

MT5 Navigator
The Accounts tab is the first option on the Navigator menu. You can access the accounts tab by clicking the expand button (marked and labeled as +), which will display a list of your saved accounts. The login credentials/information for each new MT5 account that you sign in with will be saved under this 'Accounts Tab'.
You can log in and activate any listed MT5 account by simply double-clicking on it. This Bitcoin trading accounts tab facilitates switching between various MT5 accounts.
Below, there's an example showing two trading accounts under the same tab: a demo MT5 account, which is marked with a green cartoon, and a live MT5 account, which shows up as a bitcoin cartoon. From the BTCUSD accounts tab, you can switch between these two just by double-clicking the one you want.

- Custom Trading Indicators:

The information above is visible in the screenshot. To explore further options for each item, traders should click the "+ button" to expand the options. To conceal them again, simply press the "- button. " For instance, the section titled "Automated Bitcoin EAs" has been expanded for viewing.

These educational modules will be addressed with greater depth later: for now, a brief overview of each should suffice for a BTC/USD trader.
Indicators: These are analytical instruments specific to cryptocurrency trading, placed directly on the Bitcoin Trading chart, designed to generate actionable buy and sell signals for traders.
Automated Bitcoin Expert Advisors are bots that place trades. They create buy and sell signals for crypto using MQL4 code.
Custom Indicators: A custom indicator is one that you have changed or downloaded from the internet and installed in your MT5 BTC/USD Crypto Software: this trading indicator will be listed here as a "custom technical indicator."
Scripts help to carry out particular activities. For instance, you can add a 'script close' to your trading chart if you have five open cryptocurrency trades and want to close them all at once. This will let you close all open positions at once. But some MetaTrader platform options need to be set to let trading scripts run, which we'll go over later.
Navigator will be a panel you use a lot when trading, and you can use the shortcut 'Ctrl+N' on your keyboard to either show it or make it disappear.
