MT5 Status Bar
One quick method/technique to check the real-time internet connection between your MT5 platform & the server of your online crypto broker is to check the MT5 status bars on the MetaTrader 5 software interface - MT5 Connection Bar in MT5 Status Bar.
The MetaTrader 5 Connection Status Bars within the MT5 Status Bar are Illustrated in the Example Below:

The MT5 status bar serves to visually confirm the connection status with the trading servers. A confirmed link allows a trader to successfully transmit trade orders to the live market using MT5 cryptocurrency charts. When connected, MT5 charts continuously refresh their data: consequently, if your MetaTrader 5 Bitcoin Charts are failing to update, the initial diagnostic step should be to verify connectivity using the MT5 Connection indicators displayed on the MT5 Status Bar.
Green bars on the MT5 status bar mean a good connection. Next to them, you see download and upload amounts in kilobytes.
Red Bars - These bars on the MT5 Status Bar mean there's no connection, so trades can't be started with the online brokers' server.
Red bars might & may also mean that your online connection is down, henceforth if you are using a connection like dial up & red bars come up, then maybe it is your internet connection, and not necessarily the crypto broker's server. A lot of bitcoin traders ask, “Why aren't my MetaTrader 5 Bitcoin charts updating?” If your MT5 charts freeze, check your MT5 platform's connection to your crypto broker by looking at the MT5 connection bars on the status bar.
To display the status bars on the MT5 platform software, a trader needs to use the "Status Bar" button on the 'View' menu options just as shown below, Press to check, once the option is checked the MT5 status bar will be shown at the bottom right corner of your MT5 Bitcoin Platform.

How to Verify if There Is an Internet Connection on the MT5 Platform
MT5 Bitcoin Platform Connection Bars on Status Bar - Green Bars indicate that the connection is online and Red Bars illustrate that the connection is offline. The connection may be either your internet service provider or crypto broker server. Most of the time it will be your internet service provider as the crypto brokers have 2 to Three simultaneous servers and there's no way all of them can be offline even if it's for 1 second.
