MT5 Bitcoin Timeframe: Periodicity on Charts on MetaTrader 5 Software Platform
Periodicity is commonly known as Bitcoin Timeframes by many traders. On the MT5 software.
The button below is used to select and choose the periodicity or crypto chart time frame to trade with. This button can be accessed on the MetaTrader 5 platform software like shown below.

On the MT5 platform software these crypto chart time-frames are:
- 1 Minute Time-frame - M1
- 5 Minute Chart Time-frame - M5
- 15 Minute Time-frame - M15
- 30 Min Chart Time-frame - M30
- 1H Time-frame - H1
- 4 Hour Time-frame - H4
- Daily Chart Time-frame - D1
- Weekly Time-frame - W1
- Monthly Time-frame - MN
How to Know Which BTCUSD Chart Time Frame You are Using
A common question especially if you are new to trading would be how to identify which cryptocurrency chart time-frame you are using on your MT5 platform:
There are various methods of knowing which MT5 chart time frame you're using as Shown below:
Use the above Menu as Shown above
In the above cryptocurrency example once you choose the periodicity button under the trading charts menu, then the listing of btcusd MT5 chart time-frames is shown and the crypto chart time frame that is currently selected, the one that you're using will be highlighted with a different colour, on our above exemplification this is the 1 Hour(H1) time-frame, whose Icon on the left is high-lighted in light blue.
MT5 Bitcoin Chart Change Chart Time Frame - How to Change MT5 Bitcoin Chart Time-frame
This MT5 periodicity MT5 toolbar is by default located at the top of the MT5 software & has all the crypto chart time-frames marked just as illustrated below. The cryptocurrency chart time frame that a trader is using will be marked differently from the other crypto chart timeframes, the selected crypto time-frame will be "indented" just as is shown below:

At top-left corner of bitcoin trading MT5 chart, the MetaTrader 5 chart time frame is displayed just as shown below:

15 Minutes MT5 Bitcoin Time-Frame
When you open a chart you can then use the above three methods to know which periodicity bitcoin trading chart time frame you're trading with.
You also can use the tabs, if you're trading many charts. To view this tab, Go to "View Menu" then Choose and Select "Charts Bar". The following MT5 bar will appear that you as a trader can use to navigate and it reflects the btcusd chart & also the bitcoin timeframe.
