How to Add & Modify Bitcoin Stop Loss Orders on MetaTrader 4
Bitcoin stop loss orders are bitcoin orders used to automatically close open bitcoin trades in MetaTrader 4 software. Bitcoin stop loss orders are used by bitcoin traders to help reduce bitcoin losses & close open bitcoin trades once these bitcoin trades moves against the traders' position by a specified number of bitcoin pips.
Stop-Loss orders can be set when opening new bitcoin trades & stop loss orders can also be set for already opened bitcoin trades.
How to Set Bitcoin Stop Loss Orders When Opening New BTCUSD Trades
- Open a Bitcoin trading chart for the crypto instrument you want to trade
- Right Click on the Bitcoin Chart
- Select New Order button
- Select the Set Stop-Loss Option within this New Order bitcoin trading window
- Specify your StopLoss level for the bitcoin trade that you want to open
- Choose buy or sell to open a bitcoin trade
For a buy bitcoin trade the bitcoin stop loss order is set below the bitcoin price quote you want to buy at & for a sell bitcoin trade the bitcoin stop loss order is set above the bitcoin price quote you want to sell at.
How to Set BTCUSD Stop Loss Orders for Open Bitcoin Trades
Select bitcoin trade you want to modify from the MT4 bitcoin trade transactions window
- Right click on the bitcoin trade order and choose Modify Order
- Select Stop Loss Field
- Specify the StopLoss level for the bitcoin trade
- Click the Modify Order Button
