How to Add & Modify Bitcoin Stop Losses on MT5 Platform Software

Bitcoin stop losses are bitcoin orders used to automatically close open bitcoin trades in MT5 platform software. Bitcoin stop losses are used by bitcoin traders to help reduce bitcoin losses and close open bitcoin transactions once these bitcoin trades move contra the traders' position by a particular number of bitcoin pips.

StopLoss orders can be set when executing new bitcoin trades and stop losses can also be set for already opened bitcoin trades.

How to Put BTCUSD StopLoss Orders When Opening New Bitcoin Trades

  1. Open a Bitcoin trading chart for the trading instrument you as a trader want to trade
  2. Right-Click on the Bitcoin Chart
  3. Select New Order button
  4. Choose the Set Stop Loss Option within this New Order bitcoin trading window
  5. Specify your StopLoss level for the btcusd crypto trade that you as a trader want to open
  6. Choose buy or sell to open a btcusd crypto trade

For a buy bitcoin trade the bitcoin stop-loss is set below the bitcoin price quote you want to open buy at and for a sell bitcoin trade the bitcoin stop-loss is set above the bitcoin price quote you want to open sell at.

How to Put BTCUSD StopLoss Orders for Open Bitcoin Trades

Select bitcoin trade you want to modify from MT5 bitcoin trades panel

  1. Right-click the bitcoin trade order and select Modify Order
  2. Select Stop Loss Field
  3. Specify the StopLoss level for the btcusd crypto trade
  4. Click the Modify Order Button
