How to Use Trendlines Trading Signals to Trade Stocks

trend is your friend. Is a popular saying among stocks traders because as a trader you should never go against the stocks trend. Stocks trend is the most reliable stocks trading strategy used to trade stocks trading because once the prices start to move in one direction they can move in that direction for quite some time within the trend - therefore using this trend trading strategy gives stocks traders the opportunity to make profits from the online stocks market.

To identify a stocks trend - traders use stocks trendlines. Stocks trendlines are provided on the MT4 stock charts and traders can use these trendline drawing tools on the MT4 platform to draw stocks trendlines on stocks charts.

Traders can then interpret the stocks trends on the stocks charts using these trendlines.

Guidelines of How to Draw Stocks Trendlines on Stock Charts

  1. Use stocks candle-stick charts to draw stocks trendlines

  2. The chart points used to draw the trendlines - upward stocks trendlines are along the lows of the stocks price candlestick bars in a bullish stocks trend. An upward bullish stocks trend is defined by higher highs and higher lows of the stocks price.
  3. The chart points used to draw the trendline - downwards stocks trendlines are along the highs of the stocks price bars in a bearish stocks trend. A bearish downward stocks trend is defined by lower highs and lower lows of the stocks price.
  4. The chart points used to draw the trendlines are extremes points - the high or the low stocks price. These extreme stocks price points are considered important because a stocks price close beyond the extreme tells stocks traders the stocks trend might be reversing. This is an entry or an exit stocks trading signal.
  5. The more often a stocks trendline is tested by stocks price but it is not broken, then the more powerful the stocks trend signal.
