Stocks Trading Interpret Buy & Sell Stocks Orders on MetaTrader 5 Stock Charts
To open a buy or a sell stocks trade on MT5 platform - open the Market Watch Window, Select the Stocks Quote you want to open a Stocks Trade with, open the chart of the trading instrument symbol by double clicking on the stocks quote, then from the chart open a buy or sell stocks trade using the MT5 order window shown below:
Place New Stock Trading Order in Tools Menu in MetaTrader 5 Software
A new buy or sell order to buy or sell stocks can be found on the tools menu found within the MT5 Stocks Trading Platform. The "New Stocks Trading Order" button for placing a new trade transaction on the MT5 platform is shown below. (MetaTrader 5 Keyboard Short Cut Keys 'F9')

Placing a New Stocks Order
As a stocks trader, once you select the new stocks order button as illustrated and shown above the following trade order popup window will appear. This popup includes settings for placing a new stocks trade.
Select Buy to open a Buy Stocks Trade
Choose Sell to open a Sell Stocks Trade

Following Settings are specified for placing & setting a new stocks order:
- Quote - Specify the instrument to be traded.
- Volume - The Number of Lots to be transacted
- Stop Loss Stock Order - Set Stop Loss Stocks Order, This option can be set after opening trade, or for pending stocks orders
- Take Profit Stock Order - Set Take Profit Stocks Order, This option can be set after opening trade, or for pending stocks orders
- Type: Market Execution or Pending Stocks Order
- Sell by Market - Open a Sell Stocks Trade
- Buy by Market - Open a Buy Stocks Trade
To Buy at current stocks price select the Buy by Market button key
To Sell at current stocks price select the Sell by Market button key
