How to Place Indicators on MetaTrader 4 Charts

Step 1: Open Navigator Window on Platform

Open MetaTrader 4 Navigator window as shown below: Go to 'View' menu (click), then select 'Navigator' window (click), or From Standard Tool Bar click the 'Navigator' button or press keyboard short cut keys 'Ctrl+N'

On Navigator window, choose 'Indicators', (Double-Click)

Step 2: Expand the MT4 Indicators Menu on the Navigator

Expand menu by clicking the expand button key mark (+) or doubleclick the 'indicators' menu, after this the button key will then now appear as (-) & will now be shown as a list as shown below.

From Above window you can then place any technical indicator you want on the chart.

Placing Zigzag MT4 Indicator on Chart

Step 1: Select the Zigzag MT4 Indicator button on the MT4 list of forex indicators as shown below:

Step 2: Double click the Zigzag MT4 Indicator Button, and click ok to place it on the chart as illustrated below:

Edit Zigzag MT4 Indicator Settings

To Alter Settings, right click in Zigzag MT4 Indicator, choose properties & then edit settings using pop up menu that pops & click ok button after you've changed settings.

The following popup appears and Zigzag MT4 Technical Indicator settings can be edited from this pop up panel.
