As a trader you might also want to trade Gold and Gold quote may & might not be listed on this MT4 quotes list like shown below.

For example, on the MetaTrader 4 program quotes list below, only 5 sets of money are listed, and the price for Gold is not there.

To find other gold prices not listed, right-click in the market watch panel. A window with currency prices will open.

Click the 'Show All' button to see every quote in MetaTrader 4. From that list, pick the gold quote. Open the gold chart. This displays the gold chart on your MT4.
