How to Change Forex Order Type Execution from "Market Execution" to "Pending Order"
First open order menu as shown below:
To get the order window on the MT4 platform: The New order button for placing a new FX trade is displayed below. ( Short Cut Keys "F9")
How to Change Forex Order Types on Trading Orders Panel in MT4?
Once you choose the new order button as illustrated above the following FX trade order popup window will pop and as a trader you can use this trade order popup to change the order type execution from "Market Execution" to "Pending Order".
This pop up includes settings for placing a new forex trade order as well as settings for setting Stop-Loss Level.
How to Set and change forex order type execution from "Market Execution" to "Pending Order"
A Menu of Pending Orders is then displayed as shown below
To Set a pending forex order at another price, Change the order panel "Type" option from "Market Execution" to 'Pending Order" as shown below.
A menu list of forex pending orders will appear & show the following options.
- Buy Limit
- Sell Limit
- Buy Stop
- Sell Stop
