How to Add and Add Indicators on MT4 FX Charts
Step 1: Open Navigator Window on Trading Software/Platform
Open the Navigator window just as is shown & illustrated below: Go to "View" menu (press on it), then select "Navigator" panel window (click), or From Standard Tool Bar click "Navigator" button or press key-board short cut keys "Ctrl+N"
On Navigator panel, select and choose & select 'Technical Indicators', (DoubleClick)

Step 2: Expand the Technical Indicators Menu in the Navigator
Unravel the menu by clicking the magnify button label (+) or doubleclick "indicators" menu, after which the button will then now be shown as (-) & will now be put to display as a list just as shown below.

From the Above window you then can place any indicator that you as a trader want on the trading chart.
Placing Heiken Ashi on a Chart
Step 1: Choose the Heiken Ashi button key in MetaTrader 4 list of indicators as is shown below:

Step 2: Double click Heiken Ashi Button, and click ok button to insert the indicator on the chart just as is displayed & portrayed below:

Edit Heiken Ashi Indicator Setting
To Change Setting, right-click in Heiken Ashi Indicator, choose properties and then edit properties of technical indicator using popup menu which pops and click ok button after you've changed settings.

The following popup appears and the Trading Indicator properties can be altered & edited using this popup.
