How to Place Indicators on MetaTrader 4 FX Charts
Step 1: Open the Navigator Panel on Trading Platform Software
Open Navigator window as shown and portrayed below: Go to "View" menu (press on it), then choose "Navigator" window panel (press), or From Standard ToolBar click "Navigator" button or press key-board shortcut keys "Ctrl+N"
On Navigator panel, select 'Indicators', (DoublePress)
Step 2: Expand the Technical Indicators Menu on the Navigator
Expand the menu by clicking expand button marker (+) or doubleclick "indicators" menu, after this the button will then now appear as (-) and will now be shown as a list as shown below.
From the Above window you then can place any indicator which you as a trader want on the +trading chart.
Placing Heiken Ashi on Chart
Step 1: Choose the Heiken Ashi button key in MetaTrader 4 list of indicators as shown below:
Step 2: Double click Heiken Ashi Button, & click okay button to insert the technical indicator on the chart as displayed and portrayed below:
Edit Heiken Ashi Indicator Setting
To Change Setting, right-click in Heiken Ashi Indicator, choose properties and then edit properties of indicator using popup menu which pops and click ok button after you have changed settings.
The following popup appears and the Trading Indicator settings can be edited from this popup.
