How to Save MT4 Template XAUUSD System
On the MetaTrader 4, you may want to save the your XAUUSD workspace or the the system that you are trading with so that to easily load it the next time you sign in.

On the XAUUSD Gold Platform There are Two Ways for Saving
The Work-Space - The work-space is the charts which you've opened along with the information on these charts like the attached xauusd gold systems. Saving a workspace will save all this information & you as a gold trader can use easily load this data any other time in your platform.
On the workspace button on the MT4 (illustrated below) a trader can save several different work spaces & load them at another time.
The Template - The template in other terms is the xauusd gold system you are using to trade with. For example you've just placed a set of 4 indicators in your trading chart, but you also trade other charts & you don't want to redo all the work of putting the same technical indicators on the other charts all over again, so what do you do? You save it as a template and then load it on the other charts. But how does a trader do this on the XAUUSD Gold Platform MetaTrader 4.

Saving a XAUUSD System as a Template MT4
From screen shot below all a xauusd trader has to do is to press the buttons below Templates Icon and choose the 'Save Template' Button.

If as a trader you want to save the above xauusd strategy on your MT4 platform, click the templates button as illustrated above, then choose "Save Template" as is illustrated above, then specify the "name" of the system and click 'okay'.
To load a template onto another chart, press the "Load Template Button" such as illustrated above, then choose the path of where to load the trade system from. You can even select to download a xauusd system template, if you have downloaded, or want to select a xauusd template that is saved from another MT4 of another broker within your Desktop PC computer drive C: / Programs / MetaTrader 4 / templates / Name of System.
To load a template, there is a shortcut list of saved templates press on item on the short-cut listed to load it.
Saving a Workspace
To save a workspace (not a template) which is a collection of the open charts and all the xauusd indicators attached to these charts on the XAUUSD Software, Click the 'Save Work-Space' button illustrated below.

Load a Workspace in the MT4
Saving the above Work-Space - Click 'Save Profile', and choose the profile with the name 'Euro'
To load this Work Space anytime, press the short-cut above that is marked & labeled 'Euro'
To load the British Pound Workspace, press the above short-cut that's marked 'British Pound'
When gold trading you as a Gold trader can "load" or "save" a template or workspace and then place it on another chart by simply clicking on one platform button provided like as illustrated above, this makes it is easier to trade with the XAUUSD MT4 Trade Platform.
