Templates on the Charts Menu in the MT4 Platform Software
The templates tab is provided in the charts menu on the MT4 gold platform. The MetaTrader 4 template is used by many traders to save their trade systems strategies, this way they can load trade system on new chart direct from this template option without having to put the chart indicators one by one every time they open a different chart. Saving a System as a Template in the MetaTrader 4 Platform Software.
For example as a trader you might develop a system shown below.
This system can be set up in only 5 minutes, it only takes five minutes on each new trading chart you open. However, the MT4 template helps you save time by saving this strategy as a MT4 template, and putting the MT4 template onto another chart only needs you to load it in the MetaTrader 4 software.
To retain the aforementioned trading methodology, access the 'Templates' menu item within the 'Charts' section of MT4 and utilize the 'Save Template' feature.
Click save template, and a pop-up appears. As a gold trader, save the MT4 template and name it like below.
First step is to give MT4 template a name, we name our MT4 template as tradeforextrading & press the save button.
Load a Template on MetaTrader 4 Platform Software
To load a template on the MT4 software, go the trading charts menu on the MetaTrader 4 software select the templates button & select the sub-menu item for load template. This will load the named template on to the new chart such as displayed and shown below.
The template name on the MetaTrader 4 program is shown on the list above: this is a quick way to get to saved templates on the MT4 program. Another choice is to use 'Load Templates', which is the option labeled 'Load Templates' in the template menu on the MT4 platform.
MetaTrader 4 Change Template Remove Template
The third MT4 template option removes it. This clears any template from the chart.
