Opening an Offline XAUUSD Chart on the MT4

In MetaTrader 4 you may want to open an off-line chart & analyze this chart without having it updating in real time. Although it isn't often that a xauusd/gold trader wants to open an off-line chart, this option is provided in the MT4 software.

Displayed below, the File Navigation dropdown menu shows that the second option is for opening an offline chart.

Click open offline chart, and a window pops up. Pick the offline chart you want from the menu there.

From the preceding pop-up menu, a trader is then able to open any saved offline chart listed. The quantity of price bars contained within any specific saved offline chart is indicated as the 'No. of the bars,' alongside the date range from its last update to the time it was saved.
