MetaTrader 4 practice commodities account is a free practice account provided for beginners online commodities traders, otherwise known as a demo commodities trading account that you practice with, the cash on a practice account is virtual, not real money. No one uses real money to begin with, all beginners use the practice commodities trading account to practice with before investing & depositing real money. MT4 commodities trading demo practice account is meant to provide free Commodity Trading training practice while they learn how to trade the online commodity market.
You will need to sign up with an online commodity broker before you can get this free practice account. After you register you will then get login details for your MetaTrader 4 practice account. You will then use these commodities account login credentials to sign in to your commodities MetaTrader 4 practice commodities account & start practicing with.
How to Trade Commodity Trading on MT4
After you have gotten the MetaTrader 4 commodities account details you'll then install the MetaTrader 4 platform on your PC computer. If you've never installed any software before go to folder where you downloaded the commodities MetaTrader 4 platform (don't know where that is, just Press both Ctrl & J i.e. CTRL+J or (CTRL+Y) Keys on your keyboard, and your MetaTrader 4 download will appear), double-click the download trading platform file and then click next, next until you finish installing.
After you have installed the MT4 software you will then open the platform software from the start menu of your computer. After you have opened the MT4 commodities trading platform you'll see the interface you will be working with & it may seem complicated at first but it is not. The MetaTrader 4 software tutorials will be explained under the learn lessons section where you will get an explanation of how to use this MT4 commodities trading platform in just one hours time.
At 'left top corner' of the MT4 software click on the "File" Menu, a dropdown menu appears, scroll to where you see "Login" & click it. You will then be prompted to enter the "username" & "password" that you got when you signed up on your broker's site.' You are now logged in to your commodity trading MT4 platform & you are ready to begin commodities trading.
After this you will see your commodity account balance displayed just below commodities charts & you can now begin using the MT4 to place demo trade transactions on the commodities trading market.
