Commodity Trading Open Buy & Sell on MT4 Commodity Trading Charts

To open a buy or a sell commodity trade in MetaTrader 4 platform - open the Market Watch Window, Select the Commodity Trading Quote you want to open a Commodity Trade with, open the commodity chart of the instrument quote by double-clicking on the commodity quote, then from the commodity chart open a buy or sell commodity trade using the MT4 order window shown below:

Place New Commodities Order on Tools Menu on MetaTrader 4 Platform

A new buy or sell order to buy or sell commodity can be found on the tools menu within the MT4 Commodity Trading Platform. The "New Order" button for placing a new trade transaction on the MetaTrader 4 platform is shown below. (ShortCut "F9")

Buy or Sell Commodity Order on MetaTrader 4 Platform

As a commodity trader, once you select the new order button key as illustrated above the following trade order window popup will appear. This pop up includes settings for placing a new commodity trade.

Choose Buy to open a Buy Trade

Select Sell to open a Sell Trade

Following Settings are specified for setting up and placing a new commodity order:

1. Symbol - Specify the instrument to be traded.
2. Volume - The Number of Lots to be transacted
3. Stop Loss Commodities Order - Set Stop Loss Commodity Trading Order, This option can also be set up after opening the trade, or for a pending commodity trading orders
4. Take Profit Commodities Trading Order - Set Take Profit Commodity Trading Order, This option can also be set up after opening the trade, or for a pending commodity trading orders
5. Type: Market Execution or Pending Commodity Trading Order
6. Sell by Market - Open a Sell Trade
7. Buy by Market - Open a Buy Trade

To Buy at current commodity price choose Buy by Market button

To Sell at current commodity price select Sell by Market button
