Mini Lot Definition

The Mini commodity trading account allows many retail commodities traders to access the commodities trading market because with this commodities trading account traders can trade smaller commodity lots known as Mini lots therefore capital needed to open this Mini commodities account is not a lot as that required for opening a standard commodities trading account.

1 Mini lot is the equivalent of one tenths units of the base lot of commodity.

Mini lot is equal to one tenth of the standard commodity trading lot.
