How Do You Interpret a Stocks Symbol on MetaTrader 5?

To add stocks symbols in MT5 platform use the MT5 'Market Watch' Window - To Open the MT5 Market Watch Window, Click 'View' Menu next to 'File' Menu at the tops left corner of your MT5 stocks Platform - from the drop down menu select 'Market Watch' button so as to open the 'Market Watch' on the MT5 platform.

Once you open the MT5 Market Watch window the list of available stocks symbols will be displayed on the MT5 platform and as stocks trader you can open a stocks chart from this MT5 market watch window. From this MT5 Market watch window you can also add stocks symbols on MetaTrader 5 platform.

If you want to add more stocks symbols on this MT5 Market Watch window, Right Click within the MT5 Market Watch window and a Pop Window appears - from this MT5 popup window select the option - 'Show All' - this will then display all the stocks symbols that are available for stocks on the MT5 platform.

Once the stocks quotes are opened on MetaTrader 5 Market Watch window, you can then select any of the stocks quote and open a stocks chart by double clicking on that stocks symbol.

To get the other MetaTrader 5 stocks symbols which are not listed on this MT5 Market Watch window, you can right click inside this MT5 market watch window panel as displayed below & the following window panel will pop-up. You then can choose 'Show All' MetaTrader 5 button so as to display all the available stocks symbols on MetaTrader 5 platform.

To show other MT5 stocks symbols, choose the 'Show All' button, this will then display all the available MT5 stocks trading symbols.
