MetaTrader 5 demo account is a free practice account provided for beginner traders online traders, otherwise referred to as a practice trade account that you practice with, the cash on demo trading account is virtual, not real money. No one uses real money to start with, all beginner traders use the practice demo account to practice with before investing and depositing real money. The MT5 demo account is meant to provide free Forex training practice while learning how to trade the online market.
You will need to signup and register with an online broker before you can get the free demo practice trading account. After you sign up you'll then get login details for your MT5 practice trading account. You'll then use these account login credentials to login to your forex MT5 Demo account and begin practicing with.
How Do I Trade Forex in MetaTrader 5 Software
After you have gotten the MT5 account details you will then install the MT5 software on your PC computer. If you have never installed any software before go to folder where you downloaded the MetaTrader 5 software (don't know where that is, just Press both Ctrl & J i.e. CTRL+J or (CTRL+Y) Keys on your key board, & your Meta Trader 5 download will then appear), double-click the download software platform file & then click next, next until you finish.
After you have installed MT5 software you'll then open the program from the begin menu of your computer. After you have opened the MT5 software you'll see the interface you'll be working with which might seem complicated at first but it is not. The MT5 tutorials will be covered under the learn tutorial lessons section where you will get an explanation of how to use this MT5 software in just one hours time.
At the 'top left corner' of the MT5 software click the 'File' Menu, a drop-down menu pops up, scroll to where you see 'Log In ' and click it. You will then be asked to enter the 'username' & 'password' that you got when you registered on your online broker's web site.' You are now logged into your forex MetaTrader 5 software and you are ready to start forex trading.
After this you'll see your account balance displayed just below charts & you as a trader can use now begin using the MT5 to place practice trades on the Forex market.
