MT4 demo account is a free practice account provided for beginners online forex traders, otherwise known as a demo account that you practice with, the cash on demo account is virtual, not real money. No one uses real money to begin with, all novice traders use the practice account to practice with before investing and depositing real money. The MT4 forex practice account is meant to provide free Forex training practice while learning how to trade the online forex market.
You will need to signup & register with an online forex broker before you can get this free practice account. After you register you will then get login details for your MT4 practice account. You will then use these forex account sign in credentials to sign in to your forex MT4 demo account and start practicing with.
Setting Up MT4 Platform - How to Trade Forex on MetaTrader 4
After you have gotten the MT4 forex account details you will then install the MetaTrader 4 software on your PC computer. If you've never installed any software before go to folder where you downloaded the forex MT4 platform (don't know where that is, just Press both Ctrl & J i.e. CTRL+J or (CTRL+Y) Keys on your keyboard, and your MT4 download will appear), double-click the download trading software platform file & then click next, next until you finish.
After you've installed the MT4 software you will then open the program from the start menu of your computer. After you have opened the MetaTrader 4 software you will see the interface you will be working with which might seem complicated at first but it's not. The MT4 software tutorials will be covered under the learn tutorial lessons section where you will get an explanation of how to use this MetaTrader 4 platform in just one hours time.
At "top left corner" of MT4 software click on the "File" Menu, a drop down menu appears, scroll to where you see "Login" and click it. You will then be asked to enter the "username" and "password" that you got when you registered on your broker's web site.' You are now logged into your forex MetaTrader 4 platform & you are ready to begin forex trading.
After this you will see your forex account balance displayed just below forex charts & you as a trader can use now start using the MT4 to place demo trades on the Forex trading market.
