Steps to Setup a Currency Pair Trade

  1. Open MetaTrader 4 platform
  2. Open MetaTrader 4 Market Watch Panel Window Panel shown below
  3. Choose & Select the Currency Pair you want to trade - for example open EURUSD
  4. Open the Currency Pair Trade order and select "Buy" order or "Sell" order like shown below depending on what type of trade order (buy order or sell order) you as the trader want to open.

How to place a buy or sell order using the Trade Order Window in MT4

MetaTrader 4 platform is the software which is provided by a broker to help traders set their currency pair trades.

After you download and install this MT4 on your Desktop computer Desktop PC, you may start trading in the online trading market. This MetaTrader platform is used to execute every trade in currency pairs. The MT4 FX Software is a great place to begin if you want to learn a platform.

To place currency pair trade orders, open MT4. Then open an FX chart. Right-click the forex chart. Select New Order. Pick the order type, buy or sell, as shown below. Shortcut for new order panel: Press F9.
