Counting Pips Movement Value

1. Standard Lot: 100 Pips Value for EURUSD Pairs

A 100-pip move in EUR/USD shows pip value calc for one standard lot trade below.

If EUR USD moves from 1.3000 to 1.3100 then this price move is equivalent to:

1.3100-1.3000 = 0.0100 (100 pips)

Value of = 0.0001 USD (1 pip movement for 1 standard lot)

1 standard lot = $100,000

Value of 1 pip for one standard lot = 100,000* 0.0001= $10

Value of 100 Pips = 100*10= $1,000

1.3100-1.3000 = 0.0100 (100 pips)

Value of = 0.0001 USD (1 pip movement for 1 Mini lot)

1 Mini lot = $10,000

Value of 1 pip for 1 Mini lot = 10,000* 0.0001= $1

Value of 100 Pips = 100*1= $100 dollars

3. Micro Lots: Value of 100 Pips on EURUSD

EURUSD shifts 100 pips: Pip value calc for 1 micro lot trade shown below

If EUR USD moves from 1.3000 to 1.3100 then this market move is equivalent to:

1.3100-1.3000 = 0.0100 (100 pips)

Value of = 0.0001 USD (1 pip move for 1 Micro lot)

1 Micro lot = $1,000

Value of 1 pip for 1 Micro lot = 1,000* 0.0001= $0.1

Value of 100 Pips = 100*0.1= $10
