How to Open a Forex Demo Account on MT4
Forex demo accounts are used by beginner traders to practice & learn how to trade the forex market.
A demo forex account is also used by traders to learn about the workings of a forex platform - for example the MetaTrader 4 forex demo account can be used by traders to learn how the MetaTrader 4 software works.
Once a trader opens a forex demo account on the MT4 platform, the demo account can be used to login to the MT4 platform. Once a trader opens and logs in to their MT4 platform using the MT4 forex demo account they can then open forex charts, interpret forex charts & open forex trades in MetaTrader 4 platform using this MT4 forex practice account.
To open this forex demo account a trader will first need to sign up with their forex broker & specify to open MetaTrader 4 forex demo account after which they will be issued with a MetaTrader 4 forex practice account sign in number and password.
Using this sign in account number & the account password forex traders can then login to the MT4 platform and place trades on their demo account using this MT4 platform software.
Opening A MetaTrader 4 Forex Demo Account from MT4
Forex traders can also open a forex MT4 demo account from MetaTrader 4 platform.
To open a forex MT4 demo account from the MT4 platform a trader will first need to download the MT4 software.
After downloading MetaTrader 4 platform a trader will then need to setup the MT4 software on their computer.
After installing the MT4 platform on their computer a trader will then need to open the MT4 platform on their computer and from the MT4 platform workspace a trader will then follow procedure described below so as to open a Forex Demo Trading Account on the MT4 Platform.
- Choose File Menu at the Top Left Corner of the MetaTrader 4 software
- Select Open Forex Account from the File Drop Down Menu
- Select Open Forex Practice Account Option
- A MT4 Forex Demo Account Sign up Panel will then appear prompting you as the beginner forex trader to register for a MetaTrader 4 forex demo account.
Once you register for the MT4 forex practice account you'll then be provided with forex account sign in credentials - MT4 Demo Account Sign in Number & Login Password.
You can then use these MT4 demo account sign in credentials to sign in to your MT4 Forex Demo Account. To login to your MT4 forex trading account you can use the following procedure:
- Open MetaTrader 4 software that's installed on your PC Desktop computer
- Choose File Menu at the Top Left Corner of the MetaTrader 4 software
- Select Forex Account Log in from the File Drop Down Menu
- Choose Demo Account Login Option
- A MT4 Forex Demo Account Sign in up Panel will then appear prompting you to enter your MetaTrader 4 forex demo account login number and password.
- Click Log in
Once you click the sign in button you'll then be logged in to your MetaTrader 4 forex demo account and you can then use your MT4forex demo account to open forex trades in MetaTrader 4 platform.
