To login & forex trade in the MetaTrader 5 platform follow the step by step guide described below:
How to Login on MetaTrader 5
- Open MT5 software that is installed on your PC
- Select File Menu at the top left corner of MT5 software
- Select Log in to Trade Account from the File dropdown menu
- Type your MetaTrader 5 forex account sign in & password
- Select the Server - Real for MT5 real forex trading account and Demo for MT5 practice forex trading account
- Click Ok Button to Login to MT5 Forex Trading Account
How to Trade on MetaTrader 5 Platform
To trade in MetaTrader 5 follow the step by step guide described below:
- Choose View Menu at the top left corner of MT5 software
- Select Market Watch window panel from the view dropdown menu
- Once you open the Market Watch panel
- Select the forex instrument that you want to trade
- Open the forex chart of that forex instrument by double-clicking on the forex instrument
- On the forex chart, right click on the forex chart
- Select New Order
- Choose Buy or Sell to open a buy forex trade or a sell forex trade.
On the forex order panel you will also need to specify the lot size for the trade that you want to open.
