Calculating Lot Size for a Nano Account in MetaTrader 4
To correctly ascertain the required position size for opening a new transaction, the trader must specify the lot size, typically selecting a Nano lot equivalent of 0.01 lots prior to order submission.
A trader will specify this using the order window on MT4 and select 0.01 volume as explained on the illustration:
To set these orders on MT4 Platform: open MT4, open a "fx chart", right click in the "forex chart', select & choose the 'New Order', then select order either sell or buy like illustrated/shown below. (Short Cut Keys - Press "F9"). Select The Currency Symbol you want to trade for example EURUSD & then below the currency Symbol, Select the trade transaction "Volume" as 0.001 to specify Nano Lot.
