How Do You Set TP Order on MT5 Software?
TP orders are orders used to close open trades at a profit - Take-Profit orders and close the trade once the specified Take-Profit level specified by a trader is reached.
TP orders automatically close trades at a profit once the set TP level is reached on chart.
Placing TP When Opening New Order in Tools Menu on MetaTrader 5
To open a new trade order to buy/sell a trade use tools menu within MetaTrader 5 Software as shown below.
The New order button for opening a new trade is highlighted below. ( MT5 Short Cut Keys 'F9')
How Do You Set TP Order in MetaTrader 5 Platform?
Once you choose the new order button as shown above the following trade order popup will appear and as a trader you will use this trade order popup to set the Take Profit Level for your new trade.
This popup includes the settings for placing a new trading order as well as the settings for setting TP Zone.
How Do I Place TP Order in MT5 Platform Software?
The Following TP Order Settings are specified for setting up a new Take Profit order:
TP - Set TP, This option can also be set after opening the trade, or for pending orders
Open Buy or Sell Trade by Clicking the Following Button:
- Sell by MarketOpen a Sell Trade
- Buy by MarketOpen a Buy Trade
To Buy at prevailing price and open a new order choose Buy by Market forex order button
To Sell at prevailing price & open a new trade order select Sell by Market fx order button
After opening the new trades use TP Window Above to Set The TP order for New Order.
You can also get this panel so as to modify an already open buy or sell trade - To find this order panel for a buy trade, right-click in the opened buy or sell trade, then after that you click on the 'Modify Order' after you click on the modify order button the above order settings button will popup & you can then set TP Order using method explained above.
