How Do You Trade a Symbol on MT5?
To add symbols on the MT5 platform use the MT5 'Market Watch' Window - To Open the MT5 Market Watch Window, Click "View' Menu next to 'File" Menu at the tops left corner of your MT5 Platform - from the dropdown menu select 'Market Watch' button so as to open the 'Market Watch' on MT5 platform.
Once you as a trader open the MetaTrader 5 Market Watch window the list of available symbols will be highlighted on the MetaTrader 5 trading software and as trader you can open a chart from the MetaTrader 5 market watch window. From this MT5 Market watch window you can also Add Quotes in MT5 platform.
If you as a trader want to add more symbols on this MetaTrader 5 Market Watch window, Right Click within the MT5 Market Watch window & a Pop Window appears - from this MT5 popup window choose the option - 'Show All' - this will then show all the symbols which are available for trading on MT5 platform.
Once the symbols are opened in MT5 Market Watch window panel, you can then select any of the quote & open a chart by double clicking on that symbol.
