To draw Line Charts on the MetaTrader 4 Trading Software, choose the charts plotting tools within the "MetaTrader 4 Tool-Bar" - illustrated below and choose the Line Charts tools button:

To view this charts tool bar on MetaTrader 4 navigate to 'View' Next to file at the left top corner of the MT4 Platform, Click 'View', Then Click 'Tool-Bars', Then check 'Charts' Button. Above charts tool-bar will appear.

Once above charts tool bar, pops up you can then select the type of charts you want to convert to and trade with, If you want to view using bar charts format, click bar charts tool button key as shown above, for line charts format click line charts tool button key, for Japanese candlesticks charts format click the "candles charts tool button".
