Place New Order on Tools Menu in MT5

A new trading order to buy or sell a trade can be found on tools menu within the MT5 Platform. The Button key for placing a new trade is displayed below. (ShortCut 'F9')

Placing a New Commodity Trading Order

As a commodity trader, once you select the new order button key as illustrated above the following window popup will appear. This window popup includes all the settings used for placing a new trade order.

The Following Settings are specified for setting up and placing a new order:

1. Symbol - Specify the instrument to be traded.
2. Volume - The Number of Lots to be transacted
3. Stop Loss Commodities Order - Set Stop Loss Commodity Trading Order, This option can also be set up after opening the trade, or for a pending commodity trading orders
4. Take Profit Commodities Order - Set Take Profit Commodity Trading Order, This option can also be set up after opening the trade, or for a pending commodity trading orders
5. Type: Market Execution or Pending Commodity Trading Order
6. Sell by Market - Open a Sell Trade
7. Buy by Market - Open a Buy Trade

To Buy at current commodity price hit Buy by Market button key

To Sell at current commodity price hit Sell by Market button

Setting Pending Commodities Orders

To Set a pending trade at another commodity price, Change the 'Type' option from 'Market Execution' to "Pending Commodity Order' as illustrated and shown below.

A menu list will pop-up and show the following options.

1. Buy Limit Commodity Trading Order
2. Sell Limit Commodity Trading Order
3. Buy Stop Commodities Trading Order
4. Sell Stop Commodity Trading Order

Once you select the type of pending commodity trade order to place: then select and click the 'Place' button as shown on the above screenshot to complete the setup.
