Commodity Trade Buy & Sell Commodity Orders in MT5 Commodity Trading Charts
To open a buy or a sell commodity trade in the MetaTrader 5 platform - open the Market Watch Window, Select the Commodity Trading Quote you want to open a Commodity Trade with, open the commodity chart of the commodity symbol by double clicking on the commodity trading price quote, then from the commodity chart open a buy or sell commodity trade using the MT5 order window shown below:
Place New Commodity Trading Order on Tools Menu in MT5 Software
A new buy or sell order to buy or sell a commodities instrument can be found on the tools pop up menu within the MT5 Commodity Trading Platform. The "New Commodity Trading Order" button for placing a new trade transaction on the MT5 platform is shown below. (MetaTrader 5 Short Cut Keys 'F9')

Buy or Sell Order on MetaTrader 5 Commodity Trading
As a commodity trader, once you select the new commodity order button key as illustrated above the following trade order window popup will appear. This popup includes settings for placing a new commodity trade.
Choose Buy to open a Buy Commodity Trade
Select Sell to open a Sell Commodity Trade

The Following Settings are specified for setting up and placing a new commodity order:
- Symbol - Specify the instrument to be traded - commodity.
- Volume - The Number of Lots to be transacted
- Stop Loss Commodities Order - Set Stop Loss Commodity Trading Order, This option can also be set up after opening the trade, or for a pending commodity trading orders
- Take Profit Commodities Order - Set Take Profit Commodity Trading Order, This option can also be set up after opening the trade, or for a pending commodity trading orders
- Type: Market Execution or Pending Commodity Trading Order
- Sell by Market - Open a Sell Commodity Trade
- Buy by Market - Open a Buy Commodity Trade
To Buy at current commodity trading price select Buy by Market button
To Sell at current commodity trading price select Sell by Market button
