How to Open a Commodities Trading Chart on MetaTrader 4 Platform
Once you have opened a practice commodities account the next step is to open a Commodity chart so as to begin trading.
For this example let's begin with a blank screen on the MT4 interface.
To open a new chart from the commodities trading example illustrated and shown below, click "File" tab on top-left corner as illustrated and shown below & then select option "New Chart".

After clicking "New Chart" button a drop-down menu will popup with a list of trading instruments that as a trader you can choose which to open. For example clicking the selection for Commodity Trading, clicking Commodity Trading will open the chart for commodity.

Before placing any trade on the MT4 commodities trading platform, you'll be required to login to your account & get authenticated before gaining access. Authentication is checking to see if the details you provide for Username and Password are correct details.
To begin trading in MT4 platform, just click on "File", then select & click "Login" button key from the file dropdown menu as illustrated and shown below.

As a trader once you click this login button, then a window pop up will appear prompting you to input your User Name and Password as illustrated and shown below:

Once you input your User Name and Password you will then have to choose the server: because this is a demo commodity trading account, for this instance you will then choose "Demo", if it was a real commodity trading account/live commodities trading account then you would have to select "Real" Server on this option by clicking on dropdown arrow on the right side of the above text box.
Then check box "Save Account Information"
Then Click 'Sign in'
Once you click login your details will be authenticated & you'll then have access to your MetaTrader 4 commodities trading account & when logged in to your account you can begin to trade & place new orders in the commodities trading market in the MT4 platform. If you do not have login credentials you can get these details by registering a practice trading account with a broker.
