How to Use Trendlines Trading Signals to Trade Commodity Trading
The trend is your friend. Is a popular saying among commodity traders because as a trader you should never go against the commodities trend. Commodity Trading trend is the most reliable commodity strategy used to trade commodity because once the prices start to move in one direction they can move in that direction for quite some time within the trend - therefore using this trend trading strategy gives commodity traders the opportunity to make profits from the online commodity market.
To identify a commodity trend - traders use commodity trendlines. Commodity Trading trendlines are provided on the MetaTrader 4 commodities charts and traders can use these trendline drawing tools on the MetaTrader 4 platform to draw commodity trendlines on commodity charts.
Traders can then interpret commodity trends on the commodities charts using these trendlines.
Guidelines of How to Draw Commodity Trading Trendlines on Commodities Trading Charts
Use commodity candlestick trading charts to draw commodity trendlines
- The chart points used to draw the trendlines - upward commodity trendlines are along the lows of the commodity price candlestick bars in a bullish commodity trend. An upward bullish commodity trend is defined by higher highs and higher lows of the commodity price.
- The chart points used to draw the trendline - downward commodity trendlines are along the highs of the commodity price bars in a bearish commodity trend. A bearish downward commodity trend is defined by lower highs & lower lows of the commodity price.
- The chart points used to draw the trendlines are extremes points - the high or the low commodity price. These extreme commodity price points are considered important because a commodity price close beyond the extreme tells commodity traders the commodity trend might be reversing. This is an entry or an exit commodity signal.
- The more often a commodity trendline is tested by commodity price but it's not broken, then the more powerful the commodity trend signal.
