How to Place MT5 Indicators on MT5 Charts

Step 1: Open The Software Navigator Window

Open Navigator window as shown below - Go to ' View ' menu (then click it), then select ' MetaTrader 5 Navigator ' window (click), or From Standard Toolbar click 'MetaTrader 5 Navigator' button or press keyboard short cut keys 'Ctrl+N'

On MT5 Navigator window, choose "Indicators", (Double-Click)

Step 2: Expand MetaTrader 5 Indicators Menu on the Navigator

Expand the MetaTrader 5 indicator window menu by clicking the expand button marker (+) or double click the 'indicators' menu, after this the MetaTrader 5 button will then appear as (-) and will now display a list as pictured below.

From Above panel you can then add any MT5 indicator you want in MetaTrader 5 chart.

Placing ATR on a Chart

Step 1: Select the Average True Range button on the MT5 list of indicators shown below:

Step 2: Double click Average True Range Button, & click okay to add the ATR on the chart as shown below:

Edit Technical Indicator Settings

To Adjust Settings, right-click in ATR, choose property setting and then edit the properties of the indicator using the popup menu that pops up and then click ok button key once you've changed the settings.

The following pop up window appears & Average True Range Indicator settings can be edited from this pop up window.
