How to Open MT4 Stock Chart Tick Chart

Tick Chart - open the tick chart of the stocks symbol selected. Unlike normal stocks charts, the tick chart is located directly in the "Market Watch" window on the MT4 platform.

To Open the MT4 Market Watch Window, Click "View" Menu next to "File" Menu at the tops left corner of MetaTrader 4 stocks Platform, then from the drop-down menu choose "Market Watch" button so as to open "Market Watch" in the MetaTrader 4 stocks Platform.

Once you open the Market Watch window the list of available stocks instruments will be displayed on the MT4 platform and as trader you can open a stocks chart from this market watch window.

MT4 Market Watch Window For Adding Stock Quotes in MetaTrader 4 Platform

The market watch window on MetaTrader 4 platform is used to display an array of stocks price quotes for stocks instruments.

To access this Market Watch display of stocks instruments on the MetaTrader 4 Platform a trader should go to view menu as shown below & select the Market Watch Window by Clicking on it. (The Ctrl+M is short cut for accessing this window as shown below, by pressing this shortcut, you can enable market watch window without going to the "view" menu)

Once a trader selects the stocks market watch window, the following window will pop-up showing a list of stocks instruments available for trading.

If you want to add more stocks charts stocks quotes on this Market Watch window, Right Click within the Market Watch window and a Pop Window appears - from this popup window select the option - "Show All" - this will then display all the stocks instruments that are available for trading on MT4 platform.

Once these stocks quotes are opened on the Market Watch window, you can then select any of the stocks quote and open a stocks chart by double clicking on that stocks pair stocks quote.

To get the other stocks quotes that are not listed, you can right click inside this market watch window as shown below & the following window will pop-up.

To show a list of other stocks symbols, choose the "Show All" button, this will then display all the available pairs.
