How to Read a Oil Symbol on MT4 (MetaTrader 4)

Crude Oil Trade a Oil Quote on MT4 Platform

To add oil symbols on the MT4 software use the MT4 "Market Watch" Window - To Open the MT4 Market Watch Window, Click "View" Menu next to "File" Menu at the top left corner of your MT4 oil trading Platform - from the drop down menu select "Market Watch" button so as to open the "Market Watch" on the MT4 platform.

Once you open the MT4 Market Watch window the list of available oil symbols will be displayed on the MT4 platform & as oil trader you can open a oil chart from this MT4 market watch window. From this MT4 Market watch window panel you can also add oil symbols on the MT4 platform.

If you want to add more oil symbols on this MT4 Market Watch window, Right Click within the MT4 Market Watch window and a Pop Window appears - from this MT4 popup window select the option - "Show All" - this will then display all the oil symbols that are available for crude oil trading on the MT4 platform.

Once the oil symbols are opened in the MT4 Market Watch window panel, you can then select any of the oil quote and open a oil chart by double clicking on that oil symbol.

How Do You Interpret Oil Quote on MT4 Software?

Once a trader selects the MT4 market watch window, the following MT4 Market Watch window will appear showing a list of oil symbols available for crude oil trading.

To get the other MT4 oil symbols that are not listed on this MT4 Market Watch window, you can right click inside this MT4 market watch window as shown below and the following window will appear. You can then select "Show All" MT4 button so as to display all the available oil symbols on the MT4 platform.

To show a list of other MT4 oil symbols, choose the "Show All" button, this will then display all the available MT4 oil trading symbols.
