Placing Arrows on Stock Index Charts in MetaTrader 4
The arrows button on the MetaTrader 4 under the insert menu options is used to draw arrows on the stock index charts within the MetaTrader 4 Stock Indices Platform. The arrow buttons is shown below.
The Following arrows can be drawn on the MetaTrader under this arrow buttons option:
- Thumbs Up
- Thumbs Down
- Arrow Up
- Arrow Down
- Stop Sign
- Check Sign
- Left Indices Price Label
- Right Indices Price Label
Thumbs Up and Thumbs Down Arrows
Thumbs up and thumbs down button can be used on stock index price chart to mark levels where traders can open trades and show levels where traders can close trade. The thumbs up and thumbs down arrows are shown below. As a trader to adjust the width, right click on these arrows, select properties and select a different line width.
Arrow Up and Arrow Down Arrows
The arrow up and arrow down arrows are used to show the levels where a stock indices trader opens a buy stock indices trade or levels where a stock indices trader opens a sell stock indices trade, these arrow buttons are shown below.
Stop Sign and Check Sign
The stop sign and check sign can also be used to mark points where a stock indices trader opens and closes a trade, for example the image below shows where a stock indices trader opened a buy stock indices trade and closed the trade.
Left Indices Price Label and Right Indices Price Label
The Indices Price labels are used to show stock indices prices on the particular level that these labels are set, the right stock index price label will appear to the right side of the stock index price while the left side will appear to the left side of the stock index price as shown on the stock indices example illustrated below.
