STP Account is synonymous for Straight Through Processing, the STP Account brokers will send trader orders direct to their Forex Liquidity Provider, the Liquidity Provider is a big bank with deep liquidity to trade on the interbank network - STP Live Account.

An STP Trading Account provided by an STP broker can either have one Forex Liquidity Provider or many Providers.

The best thing about STP Live Accounts is that traders can open their trades immediately with instant execution because they have access to the interbank markets through their STP broker.

STP Live Accounts will not charge commissions, but will charge spreads on trades. Because traders have access to the interbank market execution, there's no re-quotes on orders neither any order waiting for execution, the execution is instantaneous.
