What's the Meaning of Pips?
One forex pip is the basic unit used to measure currency price movement; it is equal to the last decimal point in a Forex Currency Pair Quote (4 Decimal Point Format for Pip representation), 1 forex pip is the smallest change in currency pairs price movement. The last decimal point should be the 4th decimal point. However, the fifth point that is now implemented by forex trading brokers is known as fraction of a pip or pipette.
What's 5 decimal Fractions Quote? - What is Fraction of a Pip?
Forex trading brokers now implement the fifth decimal quotes - fraction of pips, the fifth point is known as the fractional Pip. Before this all forex currency quotes were 4 decimal places and that is when the last point was referred to as a forex pip. Therefore, when forex trading always use the fourth decimal point and not the fifth decimal as the pip value.
If you trade with a broker using 5 points decimals (all forex brokers now use 5 decimal points format), then 1 fractional pip which is the 5th decimal place, will be equal to 1 dollar per 1 forex standard contract. 1 forex contract is equal to 1 standard lot.
However, this fifth decimal is just the Fraction of a pip and not the original Pip. To Make up one Point you will have to use 10 points, (it is like rounding off to the fourth decimal point).

1 standard lot = $100,000
Value of 1 pip for 1 contract = 100,000* 0.0001= $10
