How to Place MT5 Indicators on MT5 Charts

Step 1: Open Navigator Window on Platform

Open Navigator panel as shown & illustrated below: Go to 'View' menu (click on it), then select 'Navigator' window (click), or From Standard Tool-Bar click 'Navigator' button or press keyboard shortcut keys 'Ctrl+N'

On MT5 Navigator window, select "Indicators", (DoubleClick)

Step 2: Expand the MT5 indicators Menu on the Navigator

Expand the menu by clicking expand button marker (+) or double-click 'indicators' menu, after this the MetaTrader 5 button will appear as (-) and will now illustrate a listing as illustrated below.

From Above window you can then add any MetaTrader 5 indicator you want in the MT5 chart.

Placing MA on Chart

Step 1: Select the Moving Average button on the MT5 list of technical indicators as illustrated below:

Step 2: Doubleclick MA Button, and click okay to insert the indicator on chart as shown & illustrated below:

Edit Indicator Settings

To Change Settings, right-click in Indicator, choose properties and then edit properties of indicator using pop-up menu that appears and click ok button after you've changed settings.

The following pop up window pops up & MT5 Indicator parameters can be edited from this pop up panel.
