How to Place MetaTrader 5 Indicators on MT5 Forex Trading Charts

Step 1: Open Navigator Window on FX Trading Platform

Open Navigator window as shown & illustrated below: Go to "View" menu (click on it), then select "Navigator" window (click), or From Standard Tool Bar click the "Navigator" button or press keyboard short cut keys "Ctrl+N"

On MT5 Navigator window, select "Technical Indicators", (Double Click)

Step 2: Expand the MT5 indicators Menu on the Navigator

Expand the menu by clicking the expand button marker (+) or double click the "indicators" menu, after this the MT5 button will appear as (-) and will now display a list as shown below.

From the Above window panel you can then add any MT5 indicator you want in the MetaTrader 5 forex chart.

Placing MACD on Chart

Step 1: Select the MACD button on the MT5 list of technical indicators as shown below:

Step 2: Double click MACD Button, & click okay to insert the indicator on forex chart as shown & illustrated below:

Edit Indicator Settings

To Adjust the Settings, right click in MACD Indicator, choose properties & then edit settings using pop up menu that pops & click ok button key after you've changed settings.

The following popup appears and MACD Technical Indicator settings can be edited from this pop up panel.
