Place On Balance Volume Indicator in Chart in MT4 - Forex Volume Indicator

Step 1: Open Navigator Window on FX Software

Open Navigator window as shown and illustrated below: Go to "View" menu (click on it), then select "Navigator" window (click), or From Standard Tool Bar click "Navigator" button or press keyboard short cut keys "Ctrl+N"

On Navigator panel, select 'Indicators', (Double-Click)

Step 2: Expand the Indicators Menu on the Navigator

Expand the menu by clicking expand button marker (+) or double click "indicators" menu, after this the button will then now appear as (-) and will now be shown as a list as illustrated below.

From the Above window you can then place any indicator you want on the chart. The OBV volume indicator can be used as a reversal indicator, forex exit indicator or forex entry indicator.

Placing On Balance Volume Indicator in Chart

Step 1: Select the On Balance Volume button on the MetaTrader 4 list of indicators as illustrated below:

Step 2: Double click On Balance Volume Button, & click okay to insert the OBV Indicator in chart as shown and illustrated below:

To Change Settings, right click in On Balance Volume Indicator, choose properties & then edit properties of indicator using pop up menu that pops & click ok button after you've changed settings.

The following pop up appears and On Balance Volume Indicator settings can be edited from the pop up panel.
