How to Place Indicators in Meta Trader 4 Charts

Step 1: Open Navigator Window on Software

Open Navigator panel as shown & illustrated below: Go to 'View' menu (click on it), then choose 'Navigator' panel (click), or From Standard Tool Bar click the 'Navigator' button or press keyboard shortcut keys 'Ctrl+N'

On Navigator window, choose 'Indicators', (Double Click)

Step 2: Expand the Indicators Menu on the Navigator

Expand menu by clicking the expand button key mark (+) or doubleclick the 'indicators' menu, after this the button key will then now appear as (-) & will now be shown as a list as shown below.

From Above panel you then can place any technical indicator you want on the chart.

Placing Moving Average Envelopes on Chart

Step 1: Select the Moving Average Envelopes button on the MT4 list of indicators as shown below:

Step 2: Double click Moving Average Envelopes Button, & click okay to insert the indicator on chart as shown & illustrated below:

Edit Indicator Settings

To Change Setting, right-click in Envelopes Indicator, choose properties and then edit settings using pop-up menu that pops and click ok button after you have changed settings.

The following popup appears & Indicator settings can be edited from the pop up panel.
