Place Momentum in Chart in the MetaTrader 4 Software
Here's how you can add the Momentum indicator to your chart on the MT4 platform. We'll also cover technical analysis with the Momentum trading indicator.
How to Set Indicators in MetaTrader 4 FX Charts
Step 1: Open the Navigator Panel on Trading Platform
Open Navigator panel just as illustrated: Go to the 'View' menu (click on it), then choose 'Navigator' window (press), or From Standard Toolbar click 'Navigator' button or press key-board short-cut keys 'Ctrl+N'
On Navigator window, select 'Indicators', (Double-Press)
Step 2: Open the indicators menu in the Navigator
Access the Puff Up menu by clicking the "+" icon or double-clicking the "Indicators" menu. Once activated, this icon changes to "-" and reveals a detailed list for selection below.
From the panel window situated above, you are free to apply any indicator you wish onto the trading chart.
Placing Momentum on a Chart - MT4 Momentum Indicators
Step 1: Select and Choose the Momentum button on the MetaTrader 4 list of indicators just as is shown:
Step 2: Doubleclick Momentum Button, and click okay button to add it on the trading chart such as displayed & shown:
Edit Indicator Settings
To Adjust Settings, right-click on Momentum Indicator, choose properties and then edit settings using pop up menu which pops & click ok button after you've changed the settings.
The subsequent pop-up window appears, allowing you to modify Indicator parameter settings from this panel.
