How to Login on MetaTrader 4
- Open MT4 platform that is installed on your PC
- Choose File Menu at the top left corner of MetaTrader 4 software
- Select Log in to Trade Account from the File dropdown menu
- Type your MetaTrader 4 forex account sign in and password
- Select the Server - Real for MT4 real forex trading account & Demo for MT4 practice forex trading account
- Click Ok Button Key to Login to MetaTrader 4 Forex Trading Account
How to Trade on MT4 Software
To trade in MT4 follow the step by step guide explained below:
- Select View Menu at the top left corner of MT4 software
- Choose Market Watch window panel from the view drop-down menu
- Once you open the Market Watch panel
- Select the forex instrument you want to trade
- Open the forex chart of that forex instrument by double-clicking on the forex trading instrument
- On the forex chart, right click on the forex chart
- Select New Order
- Select Buy or Sell to open a buy forex trade or a sell forex trade.
On the forex order panel you'll also need to specify the lot size for the trade that you want to open.
