The step by step guide on how to buy and sell currency in the online forex market:
- Open MT4 software
- Open MT4 Market Watch Window shown below
- Select the Currency Pair you want to trade
- Open the Currency Pair Trade order window and select "Buy" order or "Sell" order as shown below depending on what type of trade order (buy order or sell order) you want to open.

How to Open Buy or Sell Order using Trade Order Window on MetaTrader 4
MetaTrader 4 software is the software that is provided by a broker to help forex traders place their currency pair trade transactions.
To set these buy & sell trade orders, open MetaTrader 4, open a "forex chart", right click on "forex chart', choose "New Order", then choose trade order you want to open - either sell order or buy order as shown below. (MetaTrader 4 Short Cut Keys for MT4 new order window panel - Press F9)
