Platform MT5 Setup

After you've registered for a demo practice account - you will use the account login credentials & you as a gold trader can use then download & install MT5 software on your PC Desktop computer. If you have not installed any software before go to the file where you downloaded it (don't know where that is, just do this Press both Ctrl and J i.e. CTRL+J or (CTRL+Y) Keys on your key-board, and your downloads will pop up), double click the download MT5 file and click next, next until you finish installation.

After you have installed the MT5 software you'll then open the MT5 platform from the start menu of your PC Desktop computer. After you have opened the MetaTrader 5 platform you will see the MT5 platform interface you'll be working with which might seem complicated at first but it's not.

At the "top left corner" of the MT5 software platform click "File" Menu, a drop down menu appears, scroll to where you see "Log In " & click it. You'll then be prompted to enter "username" and "password" that you got when you registered for a MT5 practice account on your broker's website.' You are now logged in to your MT5 platform & you're ready to begin trading in MetaTrader 5 platform.

After this you will see your account balance portrayed just below the charts and you as a trader can now start using the MT5 platform to open practice trades on the market.
