Gold Platform MT5 Setup

After you've registered for a gold demo trading practice account - you will use the account login credentials & you as a trader can use then download and install MT5 software on your computer. If you have not installed any software before go to the folder where you downloaded it (don't know where that is, just do this Press both Ctrl & J i.e. CTRL+J or (CTRL+Y) Keys on your keyboard, and your downloads will pop up), double click the download MetaTrader 5 file and click next, next until you finish installing.

After you've installed the MT5 software you will then open the MT5 platform from the start menu of your PC computer. After you have opened the MetaTrader 5 platform you will see the MT5 platform interface you will be working with which might seem complicated at first but it is not.

How to Setup MetaTrader 5 Software

At the "top left corner" of the MetaTrader 5 software software click on the "File" Menu, a drop down menu appears, scroll to where you see "Login" and click it. You will then be prompted to enter the "username" and "password" that you got when you registered for a MetaTrader 5 practice trading account on your gold broker's website.' You are now logged in to your MetaTrader 5 platform and you're ready to begin gold trading in MetaTrader 5 software.

After this you will see your gold account balance displayed just below the gold charts and you can now start using the MetaTrader 5 platform to place demo trades on the Gold market.
