Standard Toolbar Menu and Customizing it on MT5 Platform Software

Standard Tool-Bar on the MetaTrader 5 is shown below:

Before explaining how to use each tool listed on this standard toolbar, let's make sure that all the available button keys are added to it by customizing it:

  1. Right Click the MT5 toolbar customize button to the left just as is shown below

Explanation of Each BTCUSD Tool on the Standard Tool bar

Explanation of Each Tool on the Standard Tool-bar in MT5 Platform - Platform MT5 Tool Bars

1: Opens a chart on the MetaTrader 5 and a btc usd trader can specify which type of trading chart to open by clicking drop-down arrow next to its icon.

2: Profile - can be used to load a saved profile or to save a new profile: these options are provided as a sub-menu from the dropdown arrow.

3: Opening and closing market watch window: market watch displays the bitcoin quote bitcoin prices for chosen crypto trading instruments.

4: Data window opens and closes & it displays bitcoin price data as well as other information like indicator's data.

5: Navigator Short-cut, navigator highlights Trading Account data, indicators, scripts & Expert Advisors data.

6: Terminal window short cut, highlights the trades opened by a trader - indicates open trades, balance, MT5 account equity, trade transaction history, news, EAs tab, signals tab & trade alerts tab.

7: Strategy tester opens the Bitcoin Strategy Tester and traders can test their EAs on this Bitcoin Simulator Strategy Tester environment.

8: Places a new order by opening a popup panel where you as a trader can specify the bitcoin trading to buy, the amount to trade, and if the order will be a market order or set as a pending bitcoin trade order.

9: Meta Editor opens the Meta Editor environment where a trader can add or program an EA or a new trading indicator on this Meta-Editor Environment.

10: Help, if you do not know something in the MT5 click this and point on any MT5 object & get an explanation.

11: Options settings for editing the MetaTrader 5 options that are used by your platform, these settings are server settings and EAs settings found under the main navigation menu on tools menu, options sub-menu.

12: Full screen option for setting the trading chart to full screen, Shortcut is Keyboard Key 'F11'

13: Print Chart

14: Print Preview

15: EAs - activates and deactivating Expert Advisors on a chart, clicking on this button changes the colour from green to red color code, green color means EA execution is allowed, red means Expert Advisor execution is not allowed.

Remove Buttons

As a trader you'll not require all these buttons on the trading platform in your trading & you as a btcusd trader can hide some of them by clicking the customize function (shown above), then select and choose some of the items located on the right side window and then specify hide by clicking the hide button.
