Just like forex the market indices are available for trading 24 hours throughout the 5 trading days, the only difference is that indexes open for trading on Monday & not on Sunday like FX - Otherwise from Monday open a trader can trade these financial instruments throughout the week at any time until Friday close time.

Best Time to Trade Index

For market indices the best time to trade when there is a lot of opportunities is during the European Market Opening Hours & the USA Markets Opening Hours.

This is between 0700 and 2200 GMT Time. This is the time when the market moves the most points/pips providing the Stock Index traders the best time to catchidentifyidentify--and--catch a profitable market move to trade.
