How to Place MetaTrader 5 Indicators on MT5 Oil Charts

Step 1: Open The Platform Navigator Panel

Open the Navigator window as shown below - Go to " View " menu (then click it) and then choose the " Navigator " window (click), or From the Standard Tool Bar click the "Navigator" button or press keyboard short cut keys "Ctrl+N"

On the MT5 Navigator window, select "Technical Indicators" , (Double Click)

Step 2: Expand MetaTrader 5 Indicators Menu on the Navigator

Expand menu by clicking expand button key marker (+) or double-click the "indicators" menu, after this the MT5 button key will appear as (-) and will now display & illustrate a list as shown below.

From the Above window you can then place any MT5 indicator that you want in the MT5 crude oil chart.

Placing Heiken Ashi on Oil Trading Chart

Step 1: Select the Heiken Ashi button on the MT5 list of indicators shown below:

Step 2: Doubleclick the Heiken Ashi Button, and click ok to place the technical indicator on the chart as displayed below:

Edit Heiken Ashi Oil Technical Indicator Settings

To Adjust the Settings, right click in the Heiken Ashi Technical Indicator, choose property setting and then edit the properties of trading indicator using popup menu that appears and click ok button key once you change the settings.

The following pop up window appears & Trading Indicator settings can be edited from this pop up window.
