How to Place MT5 Indicators on MT5 Oil Charts

Step 1: Open The Software Navigator Window

Open the Navigator window as shown below - Go to " View " menu (then click it) and then choose the " MetaTrader 5 Navigator " window (click), or From the Standard Tool Bar click the "MetaTrader 5 Navigator" button or press keyboard short cut keys "Ctrl+N"

On the MT5 Navigator window, select "Technical Indicators" , (Double Click)

Step 2: Expand MetaTrader 5 Indicators Menu on the Navigator

Expand MetaTrader 5 indicator menu by clicking the expand button key marker (+) or double-click "indicators" menu, after this the MT5 button key will appear as (-) and will now display & illustrate a list as shown below.

From the Above window you can then place any MT5 indicator that you want in the MT5 crude oil chart.

Placing ATR on a Oil Trading Chart

Step 1: Select the Average True Range button on the MT5 list of indicators shown below:

Step 2: Double click the Average True Range Button Key, & click okay to add the ATR on the chart as shown below:

Edit Crude Oil Technical Indicator Settings

To Adjust the Settings, right-click in the ATR, choose property settings and then edit properties of trading indicator using the popup menu that appears and click ok button key once you change the setting.

The following popup window appears & Average True Range Trading Indicator settings can be edited from this popup panel.
